World Obesity Day is a global event, held annually on March 4 to bring people together to raise awareness and increase knowledge about obesity and the many other diseases on which it impacts.

The European Association of the Study of Obesity (EASO) and the European Coalition for People Living with Obesity (ECPO) have launched a new guide to holding online events. Recognising that virtual dialogue will continue to be an essential part of our communications for some time to come, EASO and ECPO have designed the guide to provide useful tips and tricks for anyone involved in organising events for World Obesity Day.

The European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) has announced that it will be giving a limited number of grants to help fund initiatives for World Obesity Day in Europe in March 2021.
Grants will range from €1,000 up to a maximum (exceptionally) of €5,000. Applications for consideration can be submitted via the form on the World Obesity Day Europe website and must be accompanied by a detailed breakdown of how it would be spent.
